I Think I'll Go To Boston

The fam just moved to Boston. Wow. Much bigger than Milwaukee. But whatever, I'm going back to school next week. I'm so ready to go bring my grades up. Plus my bud Dan and I are gonna apply for a radio show on KUPS. I'm so excited!

Busy busy busy

Things have been so busy lately. I just finished my work with the morning show. I was with them from the very first day they started, May 29th. My paper on the internship will have all the juice on what I did for them. Trust me, I learned a lot more doing stuff for them than promotions. OK so on August 8th, the "Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Contest" takes place. Our very own morning show co-host, AJ will be competing against a bunch of local media people including 2-year winner Alley Faith from 103.7 Kiss FM, The #1 Hit Music Station. Alley has been the champion for the past two years but I think AJ can pull it off. It will be a shame if some punk from elsewhere wins.

Not going to lie, State Fair has been very disappointing so far as far as my work at 'KTI is concerned. Normally I go crazy at the State Fair for their famous food on a stick and cream puffs but I'm trying to lose weight so all that is out. While we do have an ok spot in our Journal Broadcast building, I don't think we could have a worse location than inside the Pettit Center. One of our locations is in a place that doesn't attract that many people and we only have one DJ who broadcasts from 10 AM - 2 PM from there then another one from 2 - 7 PM from our Journal Broadcast building. The rest of the time inside the Pettit, it's just interns or Street Team people sitting, bored. Kind of disappointing.
